Once a week we meet up with our reading buddies from Room 13 so we can listen to them read. We are also helping them with other aspects of their learning - at the moment we are designing a google doc together to introduce ourselves and practice design skills.

Jump Jam

 The school was rocking when Brett Fairweather and his team took us through some of his Jump Jam routines!!

Anzac poppies.

 As part of our Inquiry into Anzac Day, we painted some poppies and then researched some of the New Zealand soldiers who fought in World War 1. 

We added their names to the back of each poppy so we would remember them and the sacrifices they made...... Least We Forget

The poppies were then attached to the school's gates and we came together for a moments silence.

Guest Teacher in Room 23!

 We were lucky enough to have a guest teacher in class who happens to be a tech expert as well! 

Josh was teaching a group how to insert a photo into Draw. By the look of things, he has a captive audience!

Even before school things are busy!!

So much has been happening over the last few weeks and I have been very slow in putting up stories and photos about what we have been up to!!

I love before school in the mornings because all the kids come in and actually play games - not a screen in sight!!
